Student Learning & Achievement
Our School Team work together to create a welcoming, inclusive learning community for all students. In taking the time to know and understand your child's strengths, interests and needs, school team members build the trusting relationships in which student learning and achievement is rooted.
A myriad assessment and evaluation strategies including class participation, assignments & projects, individual and group work, guided groups, self and peer-evaluation as well as student-led conferences and portfolios inform educator's ongoing assessment of student progress and achievement. In the spring, students in Grades 3 and 6 participate in the EQAO tests administered by the Ministry of Education.
